Therapist, Family Advocacy & Support Services

Overview

We are looking for a full-time Therapist to join our team at TFI Family Initiative LLC. Do you like working with children and families and have an interest in a hybrid work environment? We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow within a mission-focused nonprofit setting.

Location:

Abilene, TX

• Provide support to Case Managers working with children and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments.
• Teach and model skills such as emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families.
• Collaborate as part of a team to access resources, plan, and advocate to improve the quality of people’s lives.

• Work with youth and their caregivers under managed care requirements.
• Support care planning and service delivery to promote positive outcomes for children and families.

• Master’s degree in a counseling-related or social service field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in providing care to youth and families.
• Must hold a license: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy families; strong advocacy for children and their families.

• Average salary is $61,000 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.).
• Flexible scheduling; 20 days of personal leave in the first year, 25 days after year one, and 12 paid holidays.
