You’re a calm, level-headed EMT who shows up when it matters most. • Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings, BATs).
• Perform recordkeeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment‑related records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
• Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
• Measure vital signs and collect specimens.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided.
• Monitor worker health and manage preventative care onsite.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain readiness for onsite incidents.

• Must be able to work 607 0 hours per week.
• Must be able to work 101 2 hour shifts (rotating shifts, alternating weekends).
• Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
• Ability to climb without difficulty.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
• Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
• Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
• Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
• Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
• Must have strong team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry‑specific safety procedures (e.g., construction).

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high‑pressure situations.
• Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
• Proficient in medical record‑keeping and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
• Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
• Experience as a Basic Life Support (BLS) provider.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or equivalent
• Driver’s license
• Texas EMT License

• NREMT License (required without a TX license)

The hourly wage range for this position is $23 – $25. In addition to base pay, HV Health and Safety offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, continuing education support, and more.
