DescriptionAttention all Physician Assistants, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members.
We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in Texas on an "as needed" basis.
Under The Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
- Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
- Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
- Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
- Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health.
- Document interview results for readiness classification using a proprietary system.
- Active PA license in the state; supervising physician may be required depending on state laws.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Experience with primary care, urgent care, or occupational health is preferred.
- Experience with mobile medical services and knowledge of military protocols are preferred.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high volumes.
- Able to work extended hours, including weekends, and travel to various locations, including remote military installations.
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing medications are not required.
