We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. • Modern office setting

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtains quality diagnostic radiographic as requested by physicians. (As quickly as exam/patient condition will allow. Keeping a repeat rate of 2% or less.)
• Uses radiation protection and shielding materials when required.
• Reviews and QAs radiologic images.
• Ensures that all equipment is in compliance with state regulations, is maintained in good working order and clean.
• Liaison between patients, physicians, and medical support staff. Must demonstrate a caring and professional manner in order to make patients feel comfortable.
• Inventories and stocks radiologic supplies.
• Attends required staff meetings.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Maintains current continuing medical education as required.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.

• High School degree or equivalent.
• ARRT or LMRT Certification required

• Student technologist would be beneficial but not necessary.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Must be a RT. No LMRTs or NCTs
• ARRT and MRT Certification required
