The Manager of Service Operations ensures the smooth and efficient operation of critical facilities services by ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all required work, and by attaining customer satisfaction while maintaining safety at all times.

• Provides effective oversight, leadership and administration of safety processes and procedures.
• Responsible for overseeing and leading the work of the HVAC and Facility Operations teams.
• Responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of CPG technicians.
• Responsible for inter-team logistical and labor coordination as necessary, including but not limited to the HVAC and DC Power teams.
• Maintains a high quality of service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Accomplishes staff management by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Create and inspire team environment with an open communication culture.
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
• Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Perform site walks and estimating of potential new work.
• Identify and analyze project deficiencies; formulate and document plans of action which ensure future deficiencies are eliminated.
• Review and approve weekly timesheets.
• Create MOPs, SOPs, EOPs and other technical reports and procedures.
• Ensure operational, maintenance and emergency methods of procedure (MOPs) are strictly used.
• Be familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations.
• Travel to additional locations (25 to 30 percent).
• Train, influence, and motivate team members.
• Other assigned tasks as requested.

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards regarding services and construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in writing JHAs, MOPS, technical reports and procedures.

• Knowledge and experience using basic Computer skills including MS Office.

• OSHA certification (preferred)
• US Citizen and able to hold and maintain a security clearance

• Directly supervises five employees in the HVAC department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit;
  Standing and walking is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $78,000 - $118,000 per year
