The CRNA is a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse who works in conjunction with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians to deliver anesthesia for surgical procedures.

• Master's Degree in Nursing Anesthesia
• No previous experience
• Registered Nurse
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – State of Texas
• CPR-ACLS
• Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based practices in anesthesia
• Knowledge in conflict resolution
• Extensive skill in observation and monitoring patients using vision, tactile sensation, and sense of smell
• Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising
• Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
• Skill in problem solving
• Skill in verbal and written communication
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
• Ability to set priorities among multiple requests
• Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively
