Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in a LTACH setting, requiring a TX or compact license and ACLS/BLS certifications.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
• Care for both ICU and medical-surgical (MS) patient populations
• Patient ratios may be as high as 1:5
• Day shift position, working three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:00
• Every other weekend is required
• Position is open to first-time travelers
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Responsibilities include providing ICU and intermediate care to a diverse acute and post-acute patient population
• Two professional references are required for consideration

• Active TX or compact RN license with no action ending against it
• Current certifications:
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of two years recent ICU or IMC experience
• Documentation of relevant work experience within the last three years
