RN - Dialysis

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Dialysis provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients with kidney disease, using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). The nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment, maintains professional standards, and upholds the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

• Deliver evidence-based care to dialysis patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality.
• Participate in committees, surveys, and continuous improvement programs.
• Use dialysis and other therapeutic equipment effectively.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas).
• CPR-BCLS required.
• ACLS required (must be completed before finishing orientation).

• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of nursing process.
• Competent with medical equipment and computer data entry.
• Professional demeanor and adherence to confidentiality standards.
