Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with craniotomy and burr hole experience for a day shift position in Texas.
Responsibilities
• Work in the Main Operating Room of an acute care hospital
• Cases include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma surgeries
• Craniotomy and burr hole procedures are regularly performed
• Day shifts, Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm (3x12 hours)
• Late days and call coverage required as needed
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Provide perioperative care for neuro, spine, ortho/trauma, and robotic surgery cases
• Documentation of all required certifications must be available for consideration
Requirements
• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures required
• Operating Room nursing experience required
• Two supervisory references from the last three years
