Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a TX or compact license and advanced certifications for a 13-week ICU assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an ICU (CCU) setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- May be required to float to other units or to a different campus
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Expected to work with a broad range of complex medical conditions
- Professional communication with patients and visitors required
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Two supervisory references from the past three years required for consideration
- Candidates must live at least 150 miles from the facility
