American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and AWHONN certification.

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• May require floating to other campuses or floors
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN certification required (Beginner or Intermediate level);
  Advanced AWHONN preferred
• 2-3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with high-risk deliveries, C-section circulating/scrubbing, and obstetrical triage

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care including fetal monitoring, medication administration, and postpartum care
• Staffing ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with mandatory compliance
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products
• Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a completion plan in place
• Must reside within 150 miles of the facility
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel experience preferred but not required
