American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of ICU experience.

• ICU/CCU setting delivering direct nursing care to critically ill patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• May be asked to float to a different unit or to the facility's other campus
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience preferred

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized patient care and achieve desired outcomes
• Must reside 150 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Previous staff members must have a 1-year separation from permanent employment before returning as a traveler
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan for timely completion
• RTO may be accommodated if the traveler can work full scheduled hours around requested time off or is only missing 1-2 shifts
