Salary: $160,000 - $175,000

RK Mechanical Quality Construction Control Manager will manage, monitor, implement and execute a company QCM program on every project to ensure contractor and subcontractor quality control requirements are met for all projects. The QCC Manager sets all Quality Construction Management (QCM) schedules for each project, attends planning meetings, conducts quality audits and site walks, and reviews contract compliance with plans and specifications.

They conduct QCM meetings in person as possible, ensuring all meetings occur and follow‑up actions are addressed.

• Schedule and participate in the majority of QCM weekly meetings to ensure compliance.
• Manage and supervise the project teams to assure the QCM process is being maintained.
• Ensure all project teams meet weekly and adhere to the QCM agenda.
• Review project construction documents and specifications with the project team to assure compliance.
• Verify compliance documented in Material Matrix and Equipment Tracking.
• Manage and assure mechanical teams are planning the projects based on the “Plan it” agenda.
• Ensure mechanical project teams manage and maintain the project schedule.
• Ensure mechanical project teams utilize the Build‑it agenda to plan and execute the projects.
• Ensure mechanical project teams review and plan project labor weekly.
• Verify the Labor Projection Report (LPR) is completed weekly and reviewed for accuracy.
• Ensure project triangulation is performed.
• Review Short Interval Plan (SIP) weekly.
• Perform regular site walks to review quality processes and procedures are adhered to.
• Assist project teams in documenting quality assurance and regular inspections.
• Ensure all project teams are closing out projects by adhering to the “Close it” agenda.
• Ensure all teams maintain an Issues/Actions Log.
• Assist mechanical project teams in timely notifications of impacts to General Contractors.
• Collaborate effectively with all parties involved in the construction process, including VPO, OM, PM, Field Leadership, VDC Dept., Fabrication, purchasing, etc.
• Assist in drafting site‑specific quality control plans.
• Collect and conduct lessons‑learned meetings to assure effective communication and prevent duplication of problems across the company.
• Assist in identifying and reviewing project‑specific critical systems.
• Identify special systems testing such as steam, weld x‑ray, chlorination, duct testing, etc.

• Independent decision making.
• Initiates and maintains relationships with key staff and other departments.
• Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations having important impact on activities of the company.
• Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities.
• Determines program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects and developing standards and guidelines for diverse activities.
• Proven specialist expertise, typically 10+ years of experience.
• College/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills or equivalent combination and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
