Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory, including storage, rotation, and portion control to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques and incorporate them into our offerings as appropriate.
- Handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and responsibly.
- Perform additional duties as required to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced environment (restaurant, catering, or hotel setting preferred).
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and bending.
- Capacity to handle hot and cold kitchen environments and work with various kitchen equipment.
