Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, adhering to food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, including storage, rotation, and portion control to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques and incorporate them into our offerings as appropriate.
  • Handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and responsibly.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support kitchen operations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced environment (restaurant, catering, or hotel setting preferred).
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and bending.
  • Capacity to handle hot and cold kitchen environments and work with various kitchen equipment.
