Overview
Position:
Freight/Receiving Associate.
Location:
Abilene, TX. Associates in Freight/Receiving positions ensure the store is stocked and ready for business every day. They load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the store, may operate forklifts, and perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and excellent customer service skills are required.
The Freight/Receiving roles may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
- Load and unload trucks and move merchandise from the receiving area into the store.
- Stock shelves and ensure accurate pricing and on-hand quantities.
- Operate forklifts where applicable and safe.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service as needed.
- Ability to stock and maintain proper pricing and on-hand quantities.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained (where applicable).
