Bunkley Electric is seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Apprentice Electrician to join our Field Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about electrical work who want to grow into long-term career roles. In this position, you'll gain hands‑on experience with commercial electrical systems and controls, receive mentorship, and contribute to meaningful projects across various job sites. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of electrical theory, be skilled with tools and PPE, and be eager to learn and grow within a family‑oriented company culture.

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems and components.
• Safely use electrical tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Work under the supervision of journeyman or master electricians to complete daily tasks.
• Understand and install all types of raceways.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics under guidance.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Participate in safety training and team meetings.
• Accurately track time and materials.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and learn to identify electrical issues independently.

• Minimum of 2+ years of electrical experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and safety.
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
• Strong grasp of National Electrical Code, Article 90 - Chapter 4 & Chapter 9.
