Primoris Services Corporation invites experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team in heavy highway construction at our Abilene, TX location. Project start date:
February 2026. This role requires safe, efficient operation of heavy machinery and a passion for building the infrastructure that keeps communities connected.

Heavy equipment operators will be responsible for operating equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, motor graders, backhoes, and compactors in a safe and efficient manner.

• Operators perform equipment inspections and may be required to perform daily maintenance of equipment (such as greasing/lubing).
• Previous Operator of construction equipment, or other related industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.
• Mechanical inclination is an asset.

• Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
• Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
• Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
