American Electric Power in Abilene, TX seeks a Line Mechanic C to install, maintain and inspect overhead and underground facilities. The role progresses from C-100 to C-400 with increasing responsibility and voltage work, including energizing URD cables under supervision.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and one year of distribution power line experience or equivalent, plus a valid Class A CDL. Overtime and travel may be required.
