Financial Accountant – Fixed Term Contract (Feb–May 2026)

As we continue to grow we need a dependable person to join our finance team and keep our Xero‑based accounts systems running like clockwork.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Financial Accountant you will be at the centre of our company's activities, facilitating the smooth running of our UK and USA accounts systems. Your duties will cover month end processes, general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and extend to assisting with monthly management accounts, payroll and credit control.

• Min 4‑5 years of financial / bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of accounting software – preferably Xero
• Exceptional interpersonal / customer‑service skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Experience (or willingness to learn) of payroll systems
• Attention to detail, ability to follow processes and procedures
• Able to work without supervision with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Ideally experience working in a technology / software company environment

This will be a Full‑Time Fixed Term Contract running to the end of May 2026. The role will be based at our office in Abingdon with occasional hybrid working by agreement. You should live within reasonable commuting distance of Abingdon.
