Accountancy Elite are proud to be partnered with a client of ours in a well established firm of Chartered Accountants in their search for a well experienced bookkeeper / accounts assistant, to join their small and friendly team.

This is an amazing opportunity for a practice professional with experience in bookkeeping / payroll / accounts or all three. The individual will have a forward thinking attitude and a desire to learn and develop further.

• Bookkeeping for Companies, Partnerships, Sole Traders and Charities
• Preparing Payroll for a portfolio of clients - weekly and monthly
• Preparation of VAT returns - monthly or quarterly
• Preparation of Accounts
• Managing and maintaining a portfolio of clients
• Supporting the partners/ directors
• Managing workload in order to meet deadlines

• Previous Accountancy Practice experience
• Bookkeeping and Payroll experience essential
• Experience maintaining a portfolio of payroll clients
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
• Ideally studying AAT

• Part time or full time hours
• Salary - negotiable depending on experience
