Our client, a leading automotive service and repair business, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy workshop in Abingdon.

Working within a professional and supportive team, you'll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections, accurately identifying vehicle defects, and advising customers on any necessary repairs or maintenance.

• Conduct MOT tests in line with current DVSA regulations and standards
• Identify and accurately report vehicle defects, advisories, and failures
• Communicate MOT results and recommendations clearly to customers
• Maintain accurate testing records and workshop documentation
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times
• Support workshop operations and assist colleagues when required
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures

• A valid MOT Testing Licence
• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience working as an MOT Tester
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
