Position Overview
New Business Operations Manager – Office based in Abingdon. Salary: £40,000 - £46,000. 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
Responsibilities- Build the operating model for the newest category in Great Britain, from workflows and handovers to clear decision points across the launch setup.
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, service and marketing to ensure the new category fits into existing Miele processes without losing speed or clarity.
- Define practical processes where current structures do not fully support the launch, helping the business move forward without unnecessary complexity.
- Coordinate the operational setup across internal teams and keep responsibilities, dependencies and next steps visible.
- Attend to open questions, risks and launch dependencies early, so teams can make decisions before issues slow down execution.
- Track decisions and follow‑up actions, ensuring operational topics move from discussion into delivery.
- Improve workflows as the category grows, keeping the setup efficient, scalable and reliable for customers and internal teams.
- Degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, commercial management or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, process design, operations management or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end operational processes and system integration, able to spot gaps before they become launch problems.
- Ability to create structure, align stakeholders and keep progress moving even when requirements change.
- Experience with Miele processes, systems or operational structures is an advantage.
- Background in launching or integrating a new product category, with an appreciation of the pressure, pace and cross‑functional alignment required.
- Knowledge of project management, process improvement, lean management or operational excellence is supportive.
Contract:
12‑month fixed‑term; salary £40,000‑£46,000.
