Site Manager

Site Manager for Main Contractor | Roofing in Oxfordshire. Long term freelance position with remuneration £260 - £300 CIS / LTD, starting End of March 2026.

The building contractor operates projects of varied nature including Healthcare, education, local authority, commercial, Government Buildings & Roofing Contracts. With a reputation for excellence, they deliver construction projects ranging from £200k - £8m, including refurbishment and new build.

The ideal candidate has longevity experience as a Site Manager across varied sectors on projects up to £8m. They will manage full site operations and maintain client & Principal Contractor relationships. Roofing experience on large scale and large warehouse projects is required.

The contractor, based in Oxfordshire, is carrying out a large 7000m2 felt roofing scheme that includes asbestos removal. The Site Manager will report to a Principle Contractor (Tier
1) and must be strong on paperwork and following Tier 1 processes as the lead site manager.

• CSCS card (relevant to their position)
• SMSTS or equivalent is highly desirable.
• First Aid
• A construction related degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 are highly desirable.
• Sound understanding and experience in the application of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, including CDM.
• Good management and communication skills.
• Good operational planning and time management skills.
