Senior Electrical Estimator

Your new company You will be joining a well-established, privately owned electrical engineering contractor based in Derby. Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator. Your new role As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for a range of building services projects.

This is a senior, office-based role where you will work closely with design, commercial, and senior management teams to support tender submissions and secure new projects. You will have a high level of ownership and influence throughout the tender process. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working as a Senior Electrical Estimator within electrical contracting or building services

Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and systems Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions Ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines Confident communication skills and a proactive, professional approach What you'll get in return Competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000, depending on experience
