This well regarded further education provider delivers high-quality apprenticeship and adult learner programmes in plumbing. The department is structured and supportive, providing contract lecturers with existing schemes of work, teaching resources, and a stable environment to focus on learner progress and skills development.

This temporary contract role is designed to cover the delivery of Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing programmes. You will teach, assess, and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure learners achieve their qualifications and develop practical competence.

The Role

• Deliver practical and theory Plumbing sessions to Level 2 and Level 3 learners

• Use existing schemes of work and lesson plans aligned to curriculum and awarding body standards

• Plan and assess lessons, providing constructive feedback to learners

• Monitor learner progress and support their development

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and compliant learning environment

The Person

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing

• Recognised teaching qualification

• Experience delivering in further education or a similar training setting

• Confident and effective communicator with a learner-focused approach

• Committed to safeguarding, health and safety, and professional standards
