We are seeking an experienced and passionate Study Programme Lead in Electrical Installation to join our Construction team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical professional and educator to take a leading role in shaping and delivering high-quality Electrical Installation programmes. The role offers a unique blend of curriculum leadership and classroom teaching
, with responsibilities split between developing exceptional learning programmes outside the classroom and delivering engaging teaching within the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring learners achieve their full potential and progress successfully into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

About the Role

As a Study Programme Lead, you will take ownership of the planning, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of Electrical Installation programmes while managing and supporting the academic progress of your students throughout their learning journey. This purpose is a core requirement of the role.

Your time will be divided between:

Curriculum Leadership and Programme Development
  • Leading the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of Electrical Installation programmes.
  • Designing and implementing effective programme and course inductions.
  • Coordinating learning plans and contributing to curriculum and timetable planning.
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, including internal verification activities.
  • Monitoring learner performance data and ensuring programme records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Using student feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Working with employers and industry partners to enhance curriculum relevance and learner opportunities.
  • Supporting work experience and industry placement activity.
Teaching and Learner Development
  • Delivering high-quality Electrical Installation teaching across a range of programmes.
  • Inspiring and motivating learners through engaging and innovative teaching practices.
  • Taking ownership of students' academic progress and implementing interventions when needed.
  • Conducting one-to-one reviews, tutorials and progress meetings.
  • Providing effective pastoral support, guidance and learner development.
  • Preparing students for progression into apprenticeships, employment or further education.
  • Qualified to level 3 or equivalent qualification in relevant subject area.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or the willingness to achieve one.
  • Significant industry knowledge and expertise within Electrical Installation.
  • Experience of teaching within the curriculum area.
  • Excellent teaching and learner engagement skills.
  • A commitment to learner achievement, progression and success.
  • Experience with in a post-16 further education environment.
  • Internal verification experience or Lead Internal Verifier status.
