  • Handling hazardous materials (COSHH-regulated).
  • Operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
  • Driving and occasional international travel.
What We’re Looking For
  • HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Working towards or holding professional accreditation.
  • Strong experience with 3D CAD, PLM systems, and data management.
  • Proven experience delivering complex mechanical design projects.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with engineering analysis and simulation tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptable and able to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Awareness of electromagnetic effects in high‑current systems (desirable).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus discretionary festive shutdown.
  • Performance‑led rewards including discretionary bonus, innovation and merit schemes.
  • Share options – a stake in our future success.
  • Pension and comprehensive financial protection package including death in service and critical illness cover.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including cash plan and 24/7 assistance.
  • Ongoing investment in your growth with training and career progression.
  • Be part of world‑changing innovation in Fusion Energy.
