Lead Electrical & Electronics Engineering for Next-Generation Semiconductor Metrology

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the electrical systems, power distribution, electronics and signal acquisition at the heart of our products, along with the electrical safety and compliance of our platforms.

You’ll influence both engineering strategy and product direction while remaining close enough to the technology to solve complex technical challenges when needed.

Our products enable the development of next-generation semiconductor devices, supporting advances in computing, communications, AI and high-performance electronics.

This is not a maintenance management role. You’ll help shape the future direction of our electrical and electronics platforms, engineering standards and technical roadmap.

You’ll support, mentor and develop a highly capable electrical and electronics team whilst helping attract the next generation of engineering talent.

• Coaching, mentoring and supporting engineers through regular development discussions
• Building technical capability and encouraging engineering excellence
• Creating an environment where people can do their best work
• Providing supervisory oversight of the controls engineering function, ensuring close alignment with electrical and electronics priorities

• Defining electrical system architecture, power distribution and electronics capability
• Influencing future product development and technology roadmaps
• Establishing engineering standards and best practice

• Taking responsibility for electrical cabinet design and power distribution across our platforms
• Ensuring electrical safety and compliance throughout the product lifecycle, including CE marking and SEMI safety standards (e.g. SEMI S2)
• Leading electrical risk assessments and supporting certification activities

• Designing and reviewing electronics and power systems for instrumentation and precision measurement
• Ensuring signal integrity across complex electrical and electronics platforms
• Optimising power delivery, grounding and noise performance

• Working closely with optics, controls, software, systems and mechanical engineering teams
• Supporting successful project delivery from concept through to production
• Driving technical decision-making across multidisciplinary programmes
