Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Salary

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

• SME-level experience working within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or equivalent security engineering experience with commitment to achieve this certification.
• Strong, hands-on proficiency in Bicep for Infrastructure-as-Code provisioning and management.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops and/or Git Hub Actions.
• Proficiency in Power Shell and Azure CLI for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Solid experience with SOAP and REST APIs, including design, development, and secure management.
• Experience with Git Hub version control, including branching strategies and code review practices.
• Experienced in designing virtualised infrastructure environments - compute, virtualisation, storage, and security.
• Experience with security vulnerability management and remediation.

• Define technical requirements alongside external consultancy teams and clients.
• Provide Azure Cloud support for clients, acting as a technical escalation point for internal service desks.
• Manage and optimize Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code practices with Bicep.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, repeatable infrastructure deployment.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting in Power Shell and Azure CLI.
• Implement integration designs using Azure Integration Services.
• Design, develop, and manage secure SOAP and REST APIs.
• Work collaboratively within IT function to deliver impactful solutions and transformations.
