Help Guide Our Digital Content Transformation

We're looking for a talented Digital Content Specialist to play a key role in a major digital transformation project at Abingdon & Witney College. As we launch a new SharePoint-based staff intranet and embrace AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, you'll help create a trusted source of information for colleagues across the organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how hundreds of staff access, use and manage information every day while supporting the delivery of the College's Digital Strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the review, redesign and migration of content into a new SharePoint intranet.
  • Create engaging, accessible and user-focused content.
  • Improve information structure, searchability and user experience.
  • Work with colleagues across the College to ensure content is accurate, consistent and up to date.
  • Support digital-first ways of working and the effective use of AI-enabled tools.

About You

Essential:

  • Experience creating and managing digital content.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 applications.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Desirable:

  • SharePoint, intranet or website content management experience.
  • Internal communications experience.
  • Knowledge of content strategy, information architecture or digital transformation projects.
