The Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnerships Coordinator will play a flexible and evolving role in supporting the wellbeing needs of children, young people, staff and families across Abingdon School’s partnership network. Working across primary, secondary and community settings, the postholder will help develop and deliver a range of initiatives which may include targeted pupil support, PSHCE and RSE resources, staff training, parent engagement, student leadership programmes, partnership events and links with external charities.
The role is intentionally broad, allowing the successful candidate to shape priorities according to their experience, the needs of partner schools and the wider OX14 community, while maintaining a clear focus on collaboration, prevention, inclusion and measurable impact. This is a Mercers’ Company funded role for 3 years with clear targets and intended outcomes.
The postholder will be required to work 20 hours a week, 34 weeks a year.
