Seeking a Full Spectrum BC/BE Family Medicine/OB Physician to become Core Faculty of a Family Medicine Residency Program in southwest Virginia.
Position Highlights- Ideal candidate must be Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family medicine, including OB Fellowship training
- Physicians must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education
- This is a full-time position with the following required duties:
- Handling administrative duties for the GME program, which includes resident supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings, candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research
- Direct patient care and clinical activities working with our residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Call: 1:2 for practice‑based, low‑volume OB patients; no overnight call for hospitalist shifts
- 1:6 office call (phone call only with residents taking first call)
