Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist and Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare

Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a flexible, impactful role that allows you to provide essential women's health services? We are seeking a committed Locum Physician to fill a vital position supporting obstetric care on weekends. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise while enjoying a competitive hourly rate in a dynamic, supportive environment. Required Skills:
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as an OB Hospitalist
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic cases
  • Ability to perform on-call duties for OB emergencies
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience working in high-volume obstetric units
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics
  • Previous locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to perform on-call obstetric duties and clinic responsibilities
  • Certification in AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Ability to work weekends, starting from 11/01/2025
  • Must comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital policies
  • Willingness to travel or accept reimbursements when applicable
