• Completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, GIS, Math, Construction or related fields
• Ability to work 40 hrs/week onsite
• Great computer skills and ability to learn new software

• Utility and electrical distribution experience

• The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise to accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution facilities for roadway, highway, and large-scale lighting.
• Learn company/client policies and procedures for the development of site designs for electrical distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.
• Prepare site drawings and construction sketches for various installations of electrical facilities in a cost-effective manner that maximizes safety and service reliability.
• Prepare project or job packages including material estimates and material requisitions of the materials required for the prepared distribution electrical designs.
