Senior Accountant

We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant for our company based in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires expertise in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and maintaining general ledger accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights on budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations to ensure proper compliance
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Knowledge of local tax laws in Abu Dhabi is an advantage

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month. Salary may vary depending on qualifications and experience.

Location:

This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates currently residing in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.

Accommodation:
This position does not come with accommodation. Candidates must arrange their own housing.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport and should be able to provide proof of their legal right to work in Abu Dhabi.
