Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our transport company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

• Maintain and update accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain records of vehicle-related expenses, fuel costs, maintenance costs, and transportation revenues.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial performance and cash flow.
• Prepare payroll and employee expense reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
