Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

MZ Architects LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with UAE experience who have previously worked in a consulting environment and possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and support audit activities.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial transactions efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support finance-related operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Previous experience working in a consulting company is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
