Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes, including preparation of financial statements, variance analysis and insightful commentary for stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment and providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems and processes, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy and streamline workflows.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP or IFRS, with the ability to apply accounting principles and regulations effectively.
