Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the finance function of our manufacturing and trading operations in the UAE. The role involves day-to-day accounting activities, inventory accounting support, VAT compliance assistance, and coordination with internal teams under the supervision of the Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities- Record and post accounting entries for purchases, sales, expenses, and journals
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records
- Assist in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and production‑related entries
- Support preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules
- Assist in UAE VAT compliance, including VAT returns, reconciliations, and documentation
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documents
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for accurate financial reporting
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Perform other accounting tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Graduates with internship experience in accounting are welcome
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, Quick Books, ERP systems preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
- Experience in inventory and cost accounting
- Familiarity with production and BOM‑related accounting
- Speaking Chinese is an advantage
