Senior Specialist - Operational Audit

Job Responsibilities

• Audit Planning and Execution:
  Conduct periodic operational audits to check whether business processes are effective, efficient, and economical.
• Financial Audit and Compliance:
  Carry out financial audits to ensure compliance with local and international standards and identify gaps.
• Audit Reports:
  Prepare timely and accurate audit reports containing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
• Control Improvement:
  Identify weaknesses in internal controls and suggest improvements to strengthen systems and procedures.
• Follow-up Action:
  Follow up with departments/stakeholders to ensure agreed audit recommendations are implemented.
• Coordination with Stakeholders:
  Work with General Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management, government audit bodies, and other departments for compliance and audit-related matters.
• Regulatory Updates:
  Stay updated on laws, regulations, standards, and best practices related to operational controls.
• Team Guidance:
  Guide Specialists and Internal Auditors during internal audit execution, including fieldwork and reporting.
• Strategic Contribution:
  Support the department in achieving KPIs and align audit work with the organisation’s broader strategic goals.
• Leadership Role:
  Ensure subordinate objectives align with the Internal Audit Department’s strategy and provide guidance/training based on their development needs.

Minimum bachelor degree required in :

• Finance
• Economics
• Business
• Accounting

Internationally recognized internal audit certification e.g. Certified Internal Auditor.
