Internal Audit - Real Estate

We are currently recruiting for a semi-government real estate developer in Abu Dhabi, seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit to be part of their team.

This role will be responsible in executing audit fieldwork across lines of business in accordance with Internal Audit policies, practices, and standards, in order to help identify areas of risk to the company. This will also support the implementation of recommendations and action plans for strengthening internal controls and mitigating risk on an ongoing basis.

• Support the preparation of the risk-based Annual Audit Plan by gathering data, conducting preliminary research, and helping assess operational and compliance risk areas.
• Execute assigned audit fieldwork, including walkthroughs, control testing, sample selection, and documentation of findings.
• Prepare clear, well-organized working papers that evidence the work performed and support audit conclusions.
• Draft sections of audit reports, including observations, root causes, and recommendations, for review by the Senior Manager, Internal Audit

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in internal/ external audit, risk advisory, internal controls, or project audit, preferably within real estate, development, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, or asset-intensive sectors
• Working Knowledge of IIA Standards and COSO Framework
• Familiarity with Real Estate and Property Development Regulations
