We are currently looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Bani Yas City, UAE. The ideal candidate will have minimal work experience and be ready to take on the challenge of performing accounting functions.

• Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice payments
• Track tax payments and returns
• Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions; reconciling entries
• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital; prepare balance sheets; profit/loss statements etc.
• Prepare monthly management figures for review by senior management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail
