Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial management and reporting of our company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is open to individuals of any nationality, but preference will be given to Pakistani and Malayalee candidates. This role does not require fluency in English, but basic communication skills are necessary.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and other financial documents
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts
• Assist with payroll processing and employee benefits administration
• Support the senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Participate in audits and prepare audit schedules as needed
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
