Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

International Community Schools ICS Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong accounting knowledge preferably with previous experience working within a school or education environment

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records
• Prepare reconciliations reports and supporting financial documentation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Support school fee-related accounting and reconciliation processes
• Assist with budgeting audits and month-end year-end closing
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and UAE requirements
• Coordinate with school branches departments suppliers and other stakeholders
• Support the Finance team with other accounting and administrative duties as required

Knowledge of the Russian language is highly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Previous accounting experience, preferably within a school or education group

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of the Russian language is highly preferred

Previous UAE experience will be an advantage

Ability to work effectively within a multi-branch organization
