Accountant in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and auditing. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately tracking, recording, and reporting financial data for the company.
The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. They must also have the ability to communicate effectively with other members of the finance team as well as management in order to ensure accurate financial reporting.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing accounts receivable
- Recording accounts payable
- Reconciling bank statements
- Preparing financial reports
- Auditing expense reports
- Preparing tax returns
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Providing support to senior management regarding budgeting and forecasting activities
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 1300 per month as well as other benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation time, and more.
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance
- Outstanding problem solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of Quick Books or other accounting software is a plus
