Financial Auditors Required

Vertix Auditing is looking for a fully qualified External Auditor to join our Head Offices in Abu Dhabi - UAE. The External Auditor will be responsible for conducting independent audits of client financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable laws. The role involves assessing financial records, internal controls, and compliance to provide assurance to stakeholders on the accuracy and fairness of reported information.

The role will also involve bookkeeping and accounting of our clients in the UAE and Abroad.

• 1) Plan, execute, and finalize external audits for a range of clients across different industries.
• 2) Review financial statements, records, and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• 3) Assess internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• 4) Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and risk assessments.
• 5) Document audit findings clearly and prepare professional audit reports.
• 6) Communicate effectively with client management and stakeholders regarding audit issues and recommendations.
• 7) Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and in line with quality standards.
• 8) Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and local regulations.

• 1) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2) Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• 3) Minimum 4 to 5 years of audit firm experience, preferably with a reputable audit firm.
• 4) Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and relevant local laws.
• 5) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• 6) High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• 7) Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• 8) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software.

• 1) Excellent communications skills in English
• 2) Practical experience of using accounting software specifically Quickbooks, Xero, Zoho.
• 3) Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and risk-based audit approaches.
• 4) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
