We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Position:Accountant
Employment:
Full-Time
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Experience in Shipping/Maritime-related accounting
- Experience in making business analysis and feasibility studies.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense monitoring
- Experience preparing financial statements, reports, budgets, and account reconciliations
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting regulations including Corporate Tax management and filing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple accounts and responsibilities
- Must be willing to work and be based in Abu Dhabi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant accounting experience in the UAE
- Previous experience handling accounts for Shipping and Real Estate/Property Management companies is highly preferred
