Overview and core purpose of this position
VATBOX is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle accounting including preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and monthly management accounts.
You will work closely with our consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance for our clients.
Skills, qualifications, and capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, Quick Books, or Xero)
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE corporate tax regulations
- Experience with payroll processing in the UAE
- ACCA, CMA, or CPA qualification is an advantage
