Support the Record to Report (R2R) function within Finance Shared Services by ensuring timely close, ownership of reconciliations, and a robust balance sheet substantiation process. This role maintains the integrity of Modon Communities' financial statements by managing fixed assets, lease accounting, and general journals - while embedding best practices in governance, efficiency, and compliance.
- Month-End Close: Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and IFRS compliance
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Own bank reconciliations (BRS), intercompany (IC) reconciliations, and all balance sheet accounts, resolving variances
- Balance Sheet Substantiation: Support a structured substantiation framework to detect potential misstatements and maintain a healthy balance sheet across all entities
- Fixed Assets & Leases: Maintain the fixed asset register - capitalization, depreciation, impairment testing, and disposals; manage IFRS 16 lease accounting including ROU assets and liabilities
- General Journals: Prepare journals with proper approvals, documentation, and policy compliance
- Audit Readiness: Provide complete, audit-ready reconciliation and fixed asset files; support internal and external audits

Collaboration:
Partner with Financial Control, FP&A, and Treasury to validate balances and align reporting - Best Practices & Team Player: Support standardization of R2R processes and reporting packs; drive automation and system adoption (Oracle Fusion)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Professional certification: CA, CPA, or ACCA (required)
- 5-8 years' experience in finance operations, with exposure to R2R, GL, or controllership roles in large or diversified organizations
- Strong expertise in fixed assets, lease accounting (IFRS 16), reconciliations, and journal control
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred) and advanced Excel/Power BI
- Technical knowledge of IFRS and financial control requirements
- Governance mindset with the ability to sustain a rigorous reconciliation and substantiation process
- Analytical and detail-oriented, proactive in identifying risks and issues
- Excellent team coordination skills to drive collaboration and achieve high-performance outcomes
